Our company has supplied machines to handle every type of carton and has successfully loaded most products manually or fully automatically, whether they are small delicate objects or large cereal bags.

The principle of end load cartooning offered by our firm is one the simplest of any machine supplier in this field. The design allows many types of carton board to be handled at high speeds and efficiency covering a wide product size range.

The flat carton blank is pneumatically pulled from a horizontal magazine which can be gravity fed or motorized. The rotary erector loads and pre-breaks the carton as it enters the continuous or intermittent motion flight chain of the machine. The products at this time are contained in the in-feed buckets and are running parallel with the erected carton, if there is no product available, there is no carton to fill. As the chain containing the carton moves horizontally towards the product loading position, the minor side flaps on the non-loading side are tucked in. The product is then progressively pushed in to the carton by a barrel loading mechanism. The loaded carton continues to have the minor flaps tucked in on the loading side. Glue is applied to both ends of the major flaps to produce a closed carton or alternatively the flaps can be tucked with the option of glue for security. The cartons are driven from the machine by side running out-feed belts where they can be coded.
